Hi,complete beginner here;

My mac was previously on El Capitan. I used a 'libstdc++.6.0.9.dylib' crack/file I downloaded to replace the one in the my system files, in order to use a plug-in. This file was meant for OS 10.10.2 (Yosemite) but worked with El Capitan.

Since then, my mac has been updated to Sierra 10.12.1, and my plug-in no longer works. Would I replace the dylib file again?

How did u make the lib folder writebale.
I tried throw get info with my pass but it didnt work.

 

@michaelbrac : You have to disable SIP (System Integrity Protection) by booting in Recovery Mode (hold Command-R immediatley after the "dang" sound when you power up the computer):
- Boot recovery mode
- open Terminal from the menu
- type the following command: csrutil disable then type Enter
- i think the command will tell you that after reboot SIP will be disabled - you should be fine with a normal restart and boot to macOS, however you can check this by going up in recovery mode and typing csrutil status command and this will tell you if you managed to disable said protection. then you will be able to access the system folders with your password.

I'd rather know how I can do this on Sierra without modifying the system. Either way, eventually we're gonna either have to...

A). Find a way to actually crack these plugins for mac users.
B). Buy the plugins legit.
Or...
C). Switch to Windows.

I say this because Apple keeps unleashing a new operating system every god damn year. It's getting really tiresome so are we gonna have threads like this every year? In 5 years, are we gonna have these threads going on. Or better yet, in 5 years, are you gonna die of pancreatic cancer because you didn't have these products Openssh allegedly "cracked"?

Besides, a portion of them were borderline useless anyway. Take the MOTU stuff, for example. All he did was bypass the iLok check from within the plugins themselves. But the products were not half as useful because the .ufs files had their own protections that were not bypassed. 18 months later, this has still yet to have a workaround. If you're a mac user & you want the stuff AudioUTOPIA is unleashing, you better just sell your mac & buy a PC. Plus, when you buy a PC, you will more than likely have at least $300 left over from your profits you made by selling your mac. So you could go & buy say... UVI Falcon with that. You'd be golden.

This now said - those plugins... will never be cracked for mac. Personally, the only thing keeping me from switching to windows, is Logic Pro. Logic Pro X is home for me. Taking me from Logic Pro X & putting me with say... FL Studio, would be like taking a Polar Bear from the Arctic & placing him onto the Galapagos islands & expecting him to be happy - it would be a total catastrophe. Lol. Fortunately, I can live without these plugins. I got my Nexus2, my UVI Falcon, my Access Virus, my Taylor acoustic guitar, my Telecaster, Logic Pro X, and everything in between - I'm a pretty happy boy.

let me tell you mate i did it, happy with windoze and the amount and quality of what is put available to us by R2R, Utopia...

There is none newer than the 10.10.2 but you do not need any newer that one works. AS for the Sonnox plugins:- the installer includes AAX but the nfo clearly states that only the AU and VST work. But no problem just use either DDMF Meta Plugin or BlueCats Patchwork to open the Sonnox in ProTools.

Ok, turns out I was using a corrupted installer for the Softube Bundle and Auto-Tune EFX3. Downloaded the Softube Bundle installer again and extracted all the files using keka, it worked.

Auto-Tune EFX3 didn't work at all using the openssh method, has anybody found a solution for this plugin?

yes all working in sierra 10.12.6.... just Tc electonic LM2 not working , and motu MX4
all openssh plugs working

 

Complete noob here! Wherecan I download the right openssh lib for my OS (10.13.5)?

 

I got rid of all this drama and annoyances by simply copying the files to var/lib instead of usr/lib, the advantage is that you get the same letter count when it comes to edit the files with hexfiend plus you don't have to mess up with sip.
