I'm using Studio One 64bits on Windows 10 with VST2. I have big issues with the Softube bundle.

When I'm using the compatibility mode, Studio One is loading something in the RAM for one complete hour, and only then I can use it properly without constant stutters.

Without it, it crashes when I try to load one of Softube's plugin. The VST3s have the same problem.

I don't have that problem with Slate's stuff. I didn't try the other bundles yet.

    Any thoughts ?

I didn't have any problems, except that I had to load S1 in compatibility mode right after installing the plugins, otherwise it would keep crashing before even opening the "home" screen.

After that, I reverted it to regular mode and everything is working fine. Did you try reverting it to normal mode?

I'm on Windows 10 64 as well, by the way.

NO crashing here thus far, but I have noticed the AudioUtopia Softube stuff interacts with the gain reduction level on the channel faders. And it actually appears to work, and read the gain reduction from the plugins properly at the meters. However, when Bipassed, or when using more than one plugin on a single channel (say a valley people gate and a CL1B) it begins to get unruly and act strange at best.

Softube plugin GUIs are simply... infamous!
    But working fine on Win7 x64, SO3 x64 v3.1.1 (vst and vst3 x64) however.

Run S1 as admin and in compatibility mode with Windows 8 and they should work just fine.

    1. Get SoundToys.
    2. Put Effect rack on the first slot of the master bus.
    3. Use every softube/relab/SSL duende (for first scanning and validation you need to run in win 8 compatibility mode. ONLY ONCE.) plugin.
    4. Create template.
    5. Stop laugh it really works.

that's why I use stable REAPER and not updating my Win7 to the most latest ever Windows...see no point to use latest raw OS...if you have very powerful PC, most latest versions of Windows mean nothing at all. You have more instability/unsupport than "a bit better audio performance and faster-loadable Windows"...first of all best audio performance is your DAW, plugins, audio cards, audio cards drivers, latest ASIO and other software audio interface drivers, your other gear, and you. Not latest Windows.

I just installed these and it seems to works correctly (Softube & Soundtoys)
    ( no bug at all what so ever ) Win7 x64 - Ableton Live 9.7 x64.

But im wondering if this is an issue since i've never used Softube.
For each Softube plug-ins : if i click setup, it says :
"some settings require a DAW restart !"

Just do it and your plugins will work with Studio One v3.I had the same problem with some plugins like yours before that I did that.

Compatability mode is a terrible compromise guys. It slows down all daws in loading and performing. :dont:
The only solution is: Run problematic plugins trough the JBridge environment. Convert the plugins into a JBridge .dll and load them into your daw. This solution works for me all the time!! :winker:

    Ok,thanks,I will try it soon.Good advice !

Suefreeman, your problem is strange,I was on W7 and didn't have any problem with Audioutopia plugins....
Are your bugs just with Softube plugins or all Audioutopia plugins?? Do you have the problems if you use these plugins in an other daw??

Just Softube & i also tried Reaper ( since it support vst3)
    No luck so far.
The plug-ins works correctly ( it recalls modified presets even if not saved ... which would have been the worsts scenario )

Suefreeman, I suppose you've converted a Softube plug into a 64bit JBridge.dll? Please note that your DAW may not run in a compatability mode. Besides that you MUST run your DAW in the administrator mode to work proper with JBridge.

They have never caused a problem for me in Studio One Pro running on 64 bit Windows 7.

    I cant do compatibility.
I tried ableton and reaper (since reaper supports vst3 and recent official update fixed a registering problem when vst3 not registered)
I tried the Soundtoys/Plugin Rack thing.
I tried to stop AV and Firewall, and disconnect internet.
And i also converted with jBridge

Everything seem to work fine except for message : "some settings require a DAW restart !"
I can live with that ... but still wondering what features i am missing ...

    Hi All

So far I'm not aware of any problems

I use Win 10 and a legit version of Reaper 64 bit with a 64 bit install of the plugins

I'll keep trying and see what happens.as I said all OK so far
