Softube stuff is crashing all my DAWS... win 10.

 

Yup, despite everything that's been released, people are still asking for more. I'm guessing most have tons of stuff they never use anyway, yet seem desperate to add even more.

 

To all of you complaining of people simply making a request: You are more annoying then them.

Which DAWS do you use?

 

Yeah, the approach that things should be squashed from jump street is too prejudicial to be operating mentality. Keep a positive attitude and you'll stay ahead. If someone posted something about it in the past, it's not that big of a deal. If you're interested, you look at it; and if it turns out to be wrong, then move on. But I don't think there's a substantive need to feel, with any degree of fervor, that we should operate with prejudgment. That's always gonna lead to nowhere, eventually. You get what I'm trying to say?

@e-minor .. Yeah running paralells works fine.. (assuming that your machine can handle it) I`ve been working on both sides of the fence (Win and Mac) without problems.. Of course that is some limitations to what you can squeeze in a project.. If you want a more expanded setup i recommend bootcamp.. but if you just want to learn or just test all this new stuff its fine! That`s what i`m doing right now.. ;) Why not have the best of both worlds!?

 

Live 9 and latest Studio one.. Ive installed Softube stuff... it crashed both daws... I installed the lexicon verbs, they work sometimes, crash other time.. and Slate Virtual mix doesnt save presets, prompts to rerun installer..

All of it seems to either not work, or pretty unstable... for me at least.. on Win 10

 

same here, studio one crashed on start up with a lot of MCDsps (vst3 x64), and some lexicon crashed the daw..
kush clariphonic, electra and plush crashed on startup..

so far Eventide's are working great (and do sound impressive too)

 

I thinki in general, their method is less than successful... maybe its just win 10...

McDSP also crashing for me..
