I'm torn between these two, and can get both for the same price at the moment as a friend is selling their SL Mk3 and I can take it off their hands for the same price as the Launchkey Mk4 61 key controller.

there's a lot of cheap 25$ stands available ebay/amazon etc.

Yamaha,DW etc 85 to a hundred bucks. Since I'm not going to be gigging with this thing. and the PadKontrol only weighs about a pound, I'm leaning towards the 25$ cheapie.

when you bark your shins on the expensive stands do they hurt less than the cheap ones?
