Hey all, I don't think this is a problem with the release on the sister site because many legit users have the same problem. Zenology Pro won't launch in any DAW. No GUI, no audio, not even for a second. AAX version crashes PT12.5 HD, VST3 version crashes Sonar X3, Reaper, Bandlab Cakewalk etc. so obviously it's a systemwide compatibility issue or a display problem. I have other Roland Cloud stuff and it works fine, the problem is only with Zenology Pro.

I know technically the minimum requirement is Win8 but plenty of people seem to get it working on 7. Can anyone offer some insight? This was a common problem when Zenology Pro first came out.

If you use outdated OS, keep using outdated Software...

I have never problem with zenology pro roland TeamVR. Sonar last r2r version . cubase reaper samplitude .sony next .etc.

and on WIN 7 enterprise update 2016 .. ...
update your runtime libray visual cc. maybe . instal AIO runtimes. its free version

Zenology Pro runs OK here in Reaper x64, Windows 7 x64.
Visual C++ runtime up to v2019 installed.

 

if u installed the demo it can cause problems. clean up if so

 

I did mention I was aware of this in the OP if it is truly an OS compatibility issue then so be it, but plenty of Win7 Zenology users out there. Some are in this thread!

Good idea, I updated my C++ libraries to the latest but still no dice.
