I just came across the Youtube warning this morning, regarding the 3 strikes and then we ban you from watching videos message. They apparently have a problem with people using adblockers, So, the way around this (so far) is to:-

    1) Get a software extension for your browser. I use Firefox and got this (noscript )

    2) Disable/ block jnn-pa.googleapis.com (This is to do with advertising)

    3) Then you (again, so far) wont get the warning AND more importantly, will not get any stoppages in your videos. Just a skippable 5 second advert at the beginning of the video.

I use three. uBlock Origin, Adblock Plus, and Adguard Adblocker. The only one YouTube detects of those three so far is Adblock Plus, so I disabled that on YouTube and still have the other two going.

    P.S. I'm using Firefox extensions

LibreWolf and Brave browsers are both still ad-free even if you have no adblocker extension installed. They both have adblocking integrated into the browsers so. Just in case someone was wondering.

i'm actually ok with the more ad's. i've been watching far far far less youtube, 99% of the time i close the window because an ad plays. really boosting the old mental health.

Yep. I hear that. I been blocking their stupid asses for years and will continue to do so as long as they keep up with all that idiotic garbage they spew forth just trying to view something. There's no way they can block you if you're on a VPN, and you're not logging in. Even if you were logging in your public IP is constantly changing so they would have to start blocking huge swaths of IP's which would surely put a dent in their viewership. I don't think they want that.

Yeah, uBlock Origin everywhere. I've never even seen one of the warning signs.

ublock origin is the plugin most frequently recommended for this and they do keep on top of it daily. When it stops working you usually just need to delete the filter cache and redownload the filter list, two clicks and it works again. I tried all kinds of browsers and while they worked I missed using Firefox with a couple of youtube plugins and ublock origin was/is the only option available for us Firefox users.

Mostly correct. However, with uBlock Origin I received warnings on three occasions lately.

I don't know if this is true, but if you get warnings with uBlock Origin, you should clear the cache inside the extension's options menu.
