What meaning does it bring to the discussion? For audio I'm using both Mac and PC, depending on the place I'm working at, though my personal setup is PC based for both cost and familiarity reasons.
Correlation does not mean causation. The people at commercial facilities aren't using older versions because they are better. They keep using them because it takes time to update and time spent on updating (and making sure stuff still works) equals time clients can't come in and bring money with them. If it's not your day job and your life doesn't depend on having the system back up and running in an hour, there's no problem in updating - and actually, there are many benefits, including better sound, fixed bugs, and even performance enhancements.
2004 rompler and one of the first VST instruments ever, really?

Yeah that is why I asked initially to wasgedn if these plugins are any good, he was curious as wel, so he posted this topic. Thanks for this :mates:Anyway, in reply to your comment, I don't want to end with rubbish installed, as of right now I didn't install a single plugin from this list. And you're point of me not knowing the basics of plugins is just purely speculation, i'm just looking to expand my plugin inventory in positivie way.

Haha, yes, I do like aliasing, some people can't understand this, but I think it sounds great, more gritty and more oldschool.

It sounds like a typical Roland rompler. What it shines for is quick laying down of ideas that use orchestral sounds. It's a handy plugin. It is also x86 only.
