Hey, I'm currently looking for a clean drum kit sample pack. What do you use?

In my opinion the Stories SDX is the best produced and most versatile drum sample pack out there.

Are we talking "sample packs" here, or drum libraries? I don't use drum sample packs much mainly because they contain mostly one-shots. Not saying you couldn't produce a complete multi-sampled kit from one shots, but it's a hell of a lot of work. There are sample packs that contain multi-sampled "kits" per se but they are generally lo-fi compared to a nicely produced drum library. A lot depends on the genre I guess. As far as drum libraries go Rooms of Hansa and lately Jazz Sessions have been getting a lot of use from me.

edit* i realize upon reading this back to myself that i sound like i'm an owner of GGD but i am definitely not lol. i just like their sh*t.

getgood drums "modern and massive". ggd stuff all runs in kontakt. hands down the most versatile and natural sounding and feeling (i use my edrum kit to track all of my drums for my music and GGD is by far the most naturally expressive) kit i've come across. i've had superior drummer for years as well, tried many others, all the big up and coming contenders for being "the next best drum bla bla" and always go back to GGD. the modern and massive library is the most versatile but they also have many other kits for different genres and sounds that are equally as high quality.

here's a corny little short video i made a few years ago for IG quickly showing my workflow with it.

Hansa and Decades SDX, and the Ilbert Signature EZX has some great sounding kits.
