Anything by Agnetha Faltskog in her native language is a wonder..

 

All of the musics other than what is called western are loose.

 

The sound of music is a language that no one can speak or explain trough words, only trough music can you understand music and therefor I listen to mainly music that contains no vocals at all, so called pure music. So my favourite song is obviously an instrumental one, like Once Lydian, exploration of space ( preferable Cosmic Gates own remix ) etc. Trance, some classical aswell but if I have to pick only one I have to come back in couple of days after thinking hard, and that I dont have time with

 

mostly english, Fela is Nigerian, but with "local words" in it (Yoruba ...)

A great song by Archive for a soundtrack contains the best Irish Gaelic lament. From 1:03 to 1:53.
Kept haunting me since i've first saw the movie and as i found later it translates as:
"And I am alone.
If I had you in the morning early!"

The old-fashioned Irish wake perpetuated pagan funeral rituals, such as funeral games [comic and sometimes violent games played indoors] and formal lamentations for the dead. Until recent times, skilled old women in Irish country communities still made keens (caoins, or laments) for the dead, but this practice was opposed by the church and has now entirely disappeared. Kitty Gallagher learned this fragmentary keen from an old woman of the neighborhood.
