Ah well I will be waiting for the launch of the new Haswell chipset, it will replace Ivy Bridge with a new socket 1150.

My aim is not to upgrade anything i have now(unless it blows up!) and I hope a few of you are in this mind set..I have a feeling we will see better advanced PC components in 2013. So i'll save a bit of $$$ and wait till July/August before buying a new PC!

Hoping that Intel keeps up their good products and give us some more ideas of Haswell before released.

Haswell CPU could be attached to motherboard without the possibility of removing it because of the new technology, at least these are rumors flying around ...if so i dont find it convenient at all, i do have an Ivy Bridge i73920 on my laptop and runs very well, the thing that bothers me is the AMD Enduro card but i can live with that ...if u use x64 with loads of ram u shouldn't have any trouble nor with Sandy,Ivy or AMD's top chips for making music ...CPU's are no longer problems my friend, chose one of the top CPU and will serve you for 5 yrs and maybe more ...
