In case you are wondering wether to update your Mac to the latest operating system from Apple.

Currently we cannot recommend Steinberg customers to update to OS X 10.10 Yosemite. While we ensured that installers of our current product range were compatible with Yosemite from the start, we have been receiving sporadic user feedback regarding issues when running under Apple’s new operating system since its public release last week. This information is currently being evaluated through our quality assurance team; in case you rely heavily on a seamless operation of our products we ask you to postpone the Yosemite update until we have published our product compatibility chart.

If you have already updated and you wish to install our products on Yosemite, please refers to the Steinberg application installer tool for Yosemite:

Whatever you do, just DONT install Trim Enabler… I ran into A LOT of problems using it because the Kernel Extension are now somehow protected. And Trim Enabler changes something in them to make Trim work for 3rd Party SSD Drives. So my system wouldn't start any more and I had to Type A LOT of text into the terminal to get it working again.
