it is not another or new company , this are made by Alex Wallbank the Developer of Cinematic Strings 2

 

I wonder why he decided to abandon his previous string library, the Cinematic Strings? Also on first listen, strings patches are identical to CS2, may be a little more warmer, drier.

 

I think people (outside of here probably) will blame it on piracy.

 

It's recorded in a new hall. The rest of the orchestra will be recorded there too. The sound is nice (outside of the muted strings) and the price is not that high compared to other string libraries.

 

To be practical this library may also end up like others (or may be not). I am a ligit user and we have been discussing (on other forums) that Alex would update CS2 with newer articulations but looks like he has chosen another path. A new website, a CS2 clone library. Though it looks interesting but I still think for a CS2 alike sound with some more articulations why would I pay the whole price! Apart from this Alex work is labour of love whether this one or CS2.

I think CS2 is a little more distant (concert hall), this sounds a bit more detailed/expressive.

also there is a new legato engine which was not the best in CS2

and finally the piano blends with the orchestra like no others, it is difficult to pass on the piano especially given the price, it's certainly not Spitfire piano who can achieve a tenth of what this one could
The demo of the piano+strings is gorgeous

so I am going to buy it (later around black friday)

 

Piano does sound gorgeous. It would be great if Alex, instead of this, would come up with a brass library. I am really looking forward to it.
