Yes! The new weekly version of Amadeus Pro!

    It seems the only consistent thing Mac users get is this piece of crappy software... and it’s bi-weekly much needed ‘Pro’ updates.
    Does anyone even use this app?...

    Oh yes, I use it all the time. I assume there are others, but it's the only program I've found that when you draw in a volume automation curve, the visual representation of the audio wave changes before you apply that automation to the sound wave.

    So if I'm working on an hour and a half movie and I need to match the level of some dialog with some other dialog, Amadeus Pro takes a lot of the guesswork or estimation out of it, and so I don't have to rely only on the VU meters.

    It's one of the things I sorely missed when Apple killed off Soundtrack Pro, and as I say, Amadeus Pro is the only one that I've found that does the same thing. So I'll keep it in my arsenal for that specific reason until something better comes along.

    Can you really see the subjective loudness of two clips just by watching the waveforms? :dunno:
