Yellow Tools Culture?!

    hey guys,

    i installed Culture 1.0 and it will not work in ableton 8.2.8 and also 8.3 :'(
    its a pretty old plugin and it was dongled with version 1.7 - bleh. so maybe there is a chance to get an update?!
    i tested this a while back in 2010 and i got the same result. well are there any tips or tricks - i could get it to work?!
    well i would like to know whats the latest working verion above 1.0 :)

    ok then i would like to know if there is a way around to make it working in ableton live 8.
    ive got the plugin culture 1.0 vst - but its not working in ableton.
    its repeating the whole sample over and over.
    the vst is version 2.2 :(
    i already tried to get it working with independence free - and its not working.
    (i know independence pro for samplitude is out - is this working with ableton or not?!)

    ill try to brigde it maybe its working fingers crossed!
    wasnt working - ableton sucks! :sad:

    it works in FL Studio 10.5 Beta and also 10.0.9 :)
    not sure what Ableton messed up there.
    so i have to go recording the loops in FL and import them back into ableton.
    better as nothing i think.

    Culture 1 uses an older version of the VST protocol and doesn't sit happily with some programs using vst 2.3.

    One workaround might be to 'wrap'it in something like xlutop Chainer.

    This has worked for me.

    Only thing to remember is that you lose the patch recall feature. I usually render the channel down to audio before saving the project.

    use Xulop plugin Chainer or DDMF Metaplugin 2.

    thank you guys! gonna try that out.
    yeah vst version 2.2
    but atmosphere is version 2.0 :D and works in ableton 8

    @ ArticStorm,

    In case what you want is to be able to play the Library included within the Yellow Tools Culture 1.0 (mainly Ethnic & World Music oriented Programs & Samples), you can simply use this Library within the 'Yellow Tools Independence Free', or better the version 'PRO' if you have it. You can also use it within the 'Best Service Engine' in case you have it also.
    All these versions use the 'famous' Yellow Tools Independence Engine and therefore share the same Libraries Formats.
    As you can guess, the differences between the YT Independence Free and Pro versions are all the options related to the modifications of parameters, extended options for the Pro version,... but their engine is identical.
    In fact, you can more or less compare these two versions to those of Native Instruments : Kontakt (the full program) and Kontakt Player Free.
