Yamaha NS-10 Modification (corrected NS-635)

    I'm curious if any one here knows about this, it appears to be a modification for a "high level" freq level adjustment knob on NS10 monitors which I have never seen before. I owned a pair of NS-10 for years, never seen that before.

    There are various similar speakers from the time. Besides the NS-635 (or NS-615 for the NS-10 equivalent), there is also the 44 series, with NS-044 being the same size with the same woofers (but slightly different tweeters) as the NS-10.
