Do you think that if I rent to own today will I be elegible for the update? This to prevent that serum 2 I expect be more expensive (they say they charge the original price which is $249)

oh man browse parameters in fl studio is absolutely bonkers for serum 2.

i think i can finally automate changing the sub wave without crashing it like serum 1 , or automate on/off fx without it freaking out on me

 

The spectral and granular oscillator's are insane. The modulation additions as well.

 

Does anyone happen to know if you can play the clips and the three oscillators separately as MIDI files? I've tried using the MIDI map, but it doesn't seem to work. Can someone give me a little hint or tutorial?

Or can you only play these clips once and not assign them?

Well, it happened what i thought, now Serum 2 is on splice for 25 pays $9.99 (before 18 pays). Sad

 

Yeah really sad from the devs... that they want some money... money for something thats really good. 7 Payments more... really sad...

 

You will always get a worse deal if you do not just buy outright. Serum even got a little cheaper over the years from its original release, even if it was only like $25 cheaper. You throw in a third-party company like Splice (who also want money out of it), and of course it is going to cost more in the long run. Subscriptions are even worse vs. Perpetual license. That should be so obvious and such old news to anyone, this should almost be "off-topic".

about serum 2: the only thing I know is that I want to do things as the rules say and with respect, I didn't know that this kind of software, so well known, doesn't need a request... I am just now learning about it....
added to the fact that I don't know how long I should wait to place an order on such a recent software?

It is highly unlikely that was real. It wouldn't just be there and nowhere else, generally that's not how these things go.
