I usually buy replacement cartridges once a year in bulk, but today I went to buy and cant find them anywhere. Gillette Mach 3 Turbo (the ones with the green strips - aloe vera). I've been using these for many many moons. Did they discontinue these or what?! Gillette's own website is a pathetic useless joke and Google search returns a mess of mostly dated rumors and crap, so I dunno. Do you?

Yeah, Gillette did this to me last year as well with their "Endurance Cool Wave" deodorant.. same deal, after decades it just disappeared nowhere to be found. The "new" replacement is somewhat similar, but has a slightly different aroma and is not as strong/does not last as long as the previous.. I run and go to the gym a lot, these things matter FFS

 

Apparently can only call or chat. The number is international, so yeah not gonna do that. The chat is totally useless. Its automated and the replies are just stupid and totally not related to the product I am asking about

 

I found an email form on their site, says 2-3 day response time. Wonderful. I just love wasting hours and hoop jumping for toiletries ugh. This aint over yet!!!!

 

Fack Gillette, i wouldnt pay them 26x more than is necessary for a sharp razor just so they can blow it on some F1 driver video commercial or something else shitbrained, fack em

As far as alternatives, I have tried many and nothing is as smooth or comfortable (apart from a hot towel old school italian barbers blade) very sensitive soft skin and slow growing facial hair, I am not even sure I can grow a beard damnit I only shave like once a week and each cartridge lasts me about 2-3 months so its not a biggie in terms of costs. I ordered their Mach 3 "sensitive" cartridges that have an aloe strip. They fit the same handle so whatever.

Now the deodorant, my order just arrived and whatyaknow they changed it again! Unfnbelievable. The store says "its the same but updated new version". Idiots. Thats twice in a years time!! I have found in my searching around tons of people also pissed off about the deodorant situation. why change when you already have the best product and a loyal customer base? total fn idiots

 

As another said .. it is not enough of a customer base to support rising costs of F1 race cars, yachts and +10K per session hookers.

Anyway if you are searching for Mach3 sensitive its surely available on amazon the cartridge strip is blue due to some upgraded lubricating strip I believe

hell yes im pissed off. if it were software youre damn right I would wait for the "fix". if I were in the toiletry bidness id be all over this shit putting out clones.

I ordered the mach3 with green strips "sensitive" aloe cartridges. we shall soon find out if its up to task and I will be sure to immediately update all of you concerned folks post haste!

Ordering Gillette Mach 3 Turbo is like asking for an update of Cubase 3? I used to buy those back in the day but since years I've moved on! Today I use Gilette Pro-glide! Much better and also much easier to order. You can use your precious time to do better stuff than to try and chase razor blades that have become obsolete!

 

Strait razor blades are for purists with steady hands. Not for people that need a quick and decent shave in the morning!

Thanks but no, the ones I want and have always bought are "Mach 3 Turbo with aloe" that have the green aloe strip. But because I cant find em, those "Mach 3 Sensitive" are the ones I settled on and bought!

If they suck, i'll look at others, fuzeball pro glide fusion etc...

 

I have the proglide razor (my old Mach 3 Turbo broke and I wanted to try something new), and I am quite happy with it.
And I have those blades I mentioned above, cause I also have a sensitive skin, and even though they are quite expensive I still prefer them.
