i feel that the "focus" is on "belief/s" itself.

Imho there are thoughts/thought forms in our minds.

Repetitive thoughts/thought forms create an idea/s.

Repetitive idea/s create "belief/s".

Repetitive "belief/s" create a personality/character.

Therefore "feel" more instead of "think" more.

Put your hand(palm) on your chest & feel more in your life....instead of your hand(palm) on your head ( )

Imho to much of this is not good ( ).......but more of this is always good ( ) : + + + + =

I just told the truth. I don't like when singers play with their voice. This has been turned into a long-held belief for me and seems wrong for most people. Sometimes wrong beliefs wouldn't let us develop our own abilities (e.g. singing) and when someone doesn't like sth, wouldn't care about it. Now I've lost much time in not developing my voice. I don't want to use my vocals like pop singers do. I need it just for making meaningful music other than pop-like.

You know it's all the pop singers' fault. They've misunderstood music and caused me to breed that hatred toward vocals inside myself.

I posted this in another thread too. Most people would praise such voices but I don't. Because music is sent into background and loses its effectiveness. POP world and some other genres like RAP, R&B, Gospel and many more are all about vocals and I don't like them.

I don't know how exactly vocals turned into the main instrument in the 20th century but everyone did it was a high treason against the art world. Vocals restrained art music from getting more developed and dropped dead.

The term "art music" is something that I have not encountered elsewhere.

The human voice is regarded as essential in a variety of musical forms outside European music theory. Those who dedicate themselves to developing a proficiency in their vocal talent in such extraneous genres are admired; e.g. those who are versed in Mongolian and Inuit overtone singing.

I'm left wondering if what you say here is only applicable to so-called Western/European "popular" music. Perhaps you might be so good as to furnish us with examples of music with vocals that were, from the perspective of your thesis, good in comparison to the ones that you regard as ruinous to your sense of enjoyment.

BTW good of you to bare your soul before the world, just as you did here. That's courageous. I might not agree with what you say but you never fail to make me reconsider my perceptions. Keep it up, brah.

Yeah.... and 'shrooms, too. Neither of which I recommend for when you're on a 'bike. Just 'cause me and my mates did it is no reason for you to try. To his cost, one of my pals discovered that the hallucinatory cow directly in front of him on the road was, in fact, a real cow.

Took ages to wash all the blood, guts and cow shit off his leathers. He stank for weeks afterwards and we had to force him to ride at the back of the pack.

His vocal projection as he flew through the air was most excellent, tho'. I think his "eeeeeeeeeeeeee.... fk!" was probably the finest #D7 that I ever heard.
