Man, you really know how to rock the drums, besides the guitars ))
I don't know the original WOW song and haven't heard it yet with proper speakers, but perhaps there are too much highs (or too few lows) ?? Just a shot in the dark though...

Thanks for checking my new song , my old friend :)
the original song is very slow and symphonic , think of it as a new remix (not only cover).
however I made this song in 2-3 days but I swear I will never ever cover a slow tempo song again :)))

Aaand another metal track, much appreciated. We need more of that stuff here.

Since I'm a bad componist, I'll stick to the sound.
Although I'm a great fan of upfront drums, I think the snare is a bit too loud and the guitars are not loud enough (a bit).
Furthermore I could hear (and prove by measurements), that the track is over compressed so it loses punch, has too much frequencies between 100 - 200Hz so it sounds too muddy and not enough between 50 - 100Hz where the bang of the bd ( :winker: ) should be.

Thanks for hearing my song and dropping comment here :)
to be honest , you are right , not only snare but the whole drums are too loud.
    also agreed about 100 - 200 frequencies.
but im not sure about 50-100 , i couldnt use more exciter in that range and also my limiter was countering that frequencies :) in addition i used dynamic eq for that range for my mastering.

Ehm, I was talking about eq in the bd to make it sound a bit more like this (almost perfect mix):
