Can't believe there is no comments !???

When I put video "playing with" there is a tone of comments like "you should put this or that..." and video is just playing

Now it's a song, and it's a video "working on", and you can freely put all kind of comments

 

Honestly, you need a lot of work. but its better than nothing..

 

Ofcourse, I'm not producer (I'm developer)... this is my hobby. Other thing, I notes on first post "this is first attempt", an idea ... it's not finish product.

But, can you tell me where do I begin ? What is "a lot of work" mean ?

 

Honestly, I would like to see comments from people who are experienced in this type of music...

I would like to see comments like, "your bass sound is wrong, try this and this...." there is a video for that reason. Etc... etc.... and maybe I will learn something, others too.

There is a tons of threads of problems with Kontakt libs (registration) etc.... and a very little threads about real life and producing... that's very sad. I said that before too in one similar conversation with Catalyst.

 

First of all what genre does your music belong to?

IMHO the composition needs more variety and progression etc.

The mix is quite muddy and overall lacks clarity.

Maybe some cuts around 1-3 khz. boost around 8k. Cut around 12k, some transient enhancement on the lead etc..

But trust me you can do a lot with your idea (atleast what i heard). so carry on

p.s. you can also try add couple more instruments in the mix.

 

This tend to be a (ambient) dub techno, so it's kind a "haiku" poetry very few notes and pure minimalism. Everything is based on fx, noises etc...

Ofcourse, this is just a first mixdown with a basic automation and basic output mastering chain. As I said, basic thing is an idea... for me personaly I hate this kick/bass relation and I must change that... also bass line must be more (way) intresting then this in first mixdown.

Melody line is just copied 3-4 times, and needs to be more expanded (to be intresting).. and that's I hear, but there is a always problem with personal work, just need other objective opinions
