@momo thanks a lot! Yes it’s hard to understand how the numbers work for the blocks. I will post my progress soon. Also I’m having some trouble with the mixer lines behind volume line. I can’t get them as dark as I want them to be. How did you get yours so dark? Also have you been able to find the panning knobs fill colors and the mixer track separator lines?

 

@Grudge here ya go have added a dark patch for the backround and the separator patch you can mess around with,
there is just the pan left color added but the right one should not be too far away.

ho ill have to recheck a few patches to find the right one
from what i recall its the same patch that changes the swing box on the channel rack as well.
if you drop back tomorrow ill try have it sorted out as ill need to use it again myself sometime.

Okay thank you! Yes when I changed the color it also changes the main vol line and pitch line as well as the EQ inspector vol lines. Thanks man!

 

@Grudge Got it sorted, you can change the fffffff or the 10 or the ff0f or all three .
i just changed the fffff, you will see the other code up over it in the snapshot,
Have also added one of my big patches that changes about 50 other things if anyone needs it
the same patch your looking for is number 1 on the list after 0.
If you like you can also change the numbers 38000000 under the fffff this will change the lines on the mixer ,
im not 100% sure but i think any code that has fffff ffoff foff
with the code shr eax 10 between them changes the dark and light shade
and shr eax 10 sets the color ,sometimes if i can't get the color i want
ill fill everything with nop's and leave the last code line on the list i.e. or ffoffo
and add my color into it,this removes most of the guesswork.

@momo awesome! I will have a look at it when I get home. Let me ask, do you like the default orange color on the effects on/off tab? I was thinking of changing it to a blue color instead. Have you been able to locate it?? I keep finding similar values for the color but it’s never the right one. Also I have found the stereo sep knob fill colors as well. Amazing work momo!

 

Hi im not sure if i ever saved a patch for the on off tab,
i was happy to leave mine orange but no harm trying blue it could look nice
and will make a change ,one thing you can try as well is use complementary colors
you just pick a color on the mixer and have a look on the color wheel and see how it works out.
i did find the little gray speakers and arrows just over the on off tab
but when i changed these too any color it was a bit too much
so i just changed the on color too green and blue and left the default white or light gray.
The code must be somewhere near the arrow and stereo noob,
ive a few other things to do at the moment but you should have a good idea what too look out for and ill have a quick look for it as well tomorrow ,

Just a small update because some knobs became too colorful, so if someone wants them back to normal click here.

Edit: Updated the picture to show the difference to the original grey skin. Also updated the download link because it had only the dll without the extraz.

why did you do it with the demo version and not with the full?

@momo I found the on/off tab as well as the other pan fill color. Anything else you need found?

 

@Grudge if you can help Mainzelman with the piano roll scroll bar patch
that work be great,i lost or forgot what pacthes we used
to recolor it and have spent hrs trying to back track all the patches.
I have the playlist scroll bar patches and taught at frist it also
did the piano roll bar as well but when i checked it in the default demo version
only the playlist was changed ?

 

@momo thx, should have told ya @Grudge is already busy helping me with that too.

 

Think old age is getting the better of us
will reread over the post to try get a date when we fould the scroll bar
least that way even if the patch is named wrong ill have something to go on.

 

@momo do you happen to have Edison patches? I too am getting lost in all this haha. Also I tried to look for vol meter on fruity balance but to no avail. I went all the way from top to bottom twice and could not find the colors

 

@Grudge Am still missing a few bits from edison but you can try these patches,
there is some more color code to be found in the rc data folder only wish it was all in there lol
