as the tittle says. I used to be able to install previous versions but then they ask for authorization after weeks of use, uninstalling and installing other versions just crash my computer and i don't know why.

can anyone help please?

 

We have no idea why either without some kind of back story. What is not installing/asking for auth? Computer platform?

 

Thanks for responding. So after things started failing with after two weeks of using ableton it would ask me again to authorize which when i tried it didnt work so i would try uninstalling and reinstalling the same version or install other versions. all did the same thing, and then now when i uninstall, it shuts down, then when i boot up the computer it has the uninstall window already open and then i do it again and it works. ive also manually removed folders that the uninstalling process wouldnt take away.


when i install any version and this includes the lite verion i have, it just crashes my computer, then i do it again and it "finishes' but when i open live it says its missing a file and it cant work. or it crashes my computer which is dell g5 laptop with win 11

ableton 10,11,12, and 12 lite dont work anymore
