Windows auto update kills Addictive drums

    :guru::guru::guru::guru::guru:
    When I restart win 10, I get an update win 10 V.1803
    Start Cubase and get this warning
    Addictive Drums 2
    No GUIBoot found
    So impossible to run AD2 who was working well before.
    Any idea to recover AD2

    PS I'm a Mac guy and want to help a poor guy who's not a computer guy but a great musician

    And this is why i completely blocked windows updates for years.

    mount the AD iso again
    the "No GUIBoot found" error happens when the iso disk isnt mounted and/or the library placer need to be launched

    This one worked for me! after trying every other solution mentioned here, thank you Dread_J this was a big rock in my shoe!
    just mount the iso, and run the library placer, no re install, no copy files

    I always run the latest windows version and I never have all these problems that others have, I don't even turn off Defender.
    I just checked latest Addictive drums working no problem.

    In my humble opinion of course, only iDiots have enabled auto-update.
    It's a really stupid trend, to have always (soon as possible) the latest versions.

    Never go to 2004 if your daw works.
    Never EVER have your daw connected to the internet.
