And I use Windows 11 and am happy with its performance, much better than Windows 10. :headbang:

Yes, only system HDD is enough.
Any link to whatever HDD other than system wil be preserved in case of restore.

Beware: you have to backup the whole system HDD, or at least the System Reserved AND system partition (C:\) if you have other partitions on that system drive that you don't want to include.

Beware also that drive letters during boot live backup can change, check the content first.

    Thanks for the reply mate.
    I created a Win10 boot USB
I created a Win7 system repair disc through Windows 7 itself.
Just to be safe, I made a backup with Win7 "Create a system image", as well as doing a backup with AOMEI BackUpper just incase.

For some reason my system drive is Labelled as "Drive F" (not Drive C)
But this has never been an issue when installing anything.
Fingers crossed the upgrade to Win10 works without any headaches. But knowing my luck, I feel a migraine coming on lol

Thanks to everyone who has replied to my OP is some form or another.
    Much appreciated.

    *UPDATE*

Following all of your suggestions (apart from fresh install and Installing Win11), I just finished the update and it "seems" to have completed smoothly and successfully.

Opened up sessions in Reaper and it loaded as normal.

Now I can finally give Cubase 12 a crack!! I tried the modded version that was supposed to work on Win7, but it constantly crashed for me.

Thanks again for all your help.

Fingers crossed I don't make another post after everything shits itself lol

    Cheers lads.
