I've tried a lot of OS, but this is the best Windows version that i've ever seen. Trust me, you will like a lot. It's working flawless on a 6-7 years old type of laptop.

All memory leaks regarding Studio One seems magically fixed. I'll investigate it more.

 

What are the HDD requirements? My current Win7 lite takes just 2.75GB upon installation.

 

Don't know i'm sorry i've already installed plugins, samples, daw and did some updates. However i can say you that this is not a streamlined version of Win7, this is a full enhanced version of Win7 Ultimate but far more lighter and optimized than original version. Can run it fully by using 600-700 mb of ram. I'm really impressed by this release so far.

The iso for the 64 bit version is about 3.48 GB

Is there a Professional version available or just Ultimate?
I have Win7 Profi OEM product key and it's unusable in most of these modded systems since they're all based around Ultimate.

The all system it's faster, Cpu use is 1 GB less than before and it's Ultimate (i was running Home Premium)
There are some nice tweaks. Themes are nice. I'm going to test it in depth and let you guys know how it works with Studio One 3

 

If you are running Realtek soundcard the hidden option "Disable when unjacked" for both IN and OUT could be enabled. To disable it just install latest Realtek driver and from the Realtek audio pannel select "Disable front pannel jack detection", restart and done

This could be not directly related to the modded version since it's related to Realtek audiocard, but i'll post here anyway.

Looks cool. bu the the moogerfooger would anyone make a custom Windows that is not English? Actaully, why would anyone use a non-English Windows, it's beyond me. I hate any electronic device in any other language than English. I hate using them in my native language Makes them feel "cheap".

 

Regarding Windows 7, I use custom made Windows 7 "lite" for my audio needs. It's basically W7 Ultimate slimmed down quite a bit with "NTLite" from www.ntlite.com. However, there's also a very nice, small and stable W7 lite "distro" ;) called "Windows 7 lite by nil" that I use, too. It can be found on your favourite torrent website.

Also this seems cool I never tried it. I know the guy who made Win7 ICE. Is a well-know coder in the web, it' very skilled and he released tons of work like All WIndows XP ice releases (7 versions) wich i used on the past to downgrade my laptop from Vista to XP since regular XP wasn't supported. He also released a lite version of Win XP too and other good stuff. I trust this guy hands down.
