    Hello everyone

I resently upgraded windows to the creators update, but now sylenth is timebombing. I use FL Studio 12 and I've tried a couple of versions of sylenth.

I just wanted to hear if anybody has the same problem and also what do about it. (please don't just say buy it)

    Bai eaaat! Or don't =)

Anyway, I just tried loading it, and the skinned version was in demomode, the "normal" version was ok, seemed to function as per usual. Try a version that hasn't been skinned? *shrugs*. Can't tell u which version it was, beyond 2.2.

64bit version seem to work. But now my old projects with the 32 bit plugin are dead I guess. Thanks a lot though :D

[tired of W10 not working/problems threads, yet the guys persist in W10 being the best thing since the sliced bread - then deal with it, I'm making music in the mean time]

I'm talking about things that unnecessarily take away your time and ruin your creativity while you should be just making music. And some plugins just don't work no matter what you do. You have to wait for a plugin developer to resolve the issues with W10. They are slowly tackling those and at some point W10 will work as effortlessly with everything you throw at it [except the older software which development stopped]. I'm sure of that. Still, there is a question of W10 efficiency in comparison to 7 and XP. That will never be resolved, not even with faster CPUs, as the problem is in the OS itself. Too many background tasks that unnecessarily take away CPU cycles are a problem with all MS operating systems, but the older the OS the better it gets.

But it goes without saying that it doesn't matter what OS you use for as long as good tunes can be made. It's not a competition in using newest and most upgraded, it's about making good music and what works for you - your studio, eh? :headbang:

I can confirm that this procedure works even on Windows 10 creators update:
    - download lennar.digital.sylenth1.v2.2.1.x.installer.2018.02.18.x86.x64-aon
*- rightclick , properties, set compatibility mode to Windows 8
    *- open as admin
    - install 32bit Version and Bridge via jbride

No "thank you for using this demo" nor crashes ! :)

(* don't know if These steps are needed)
