hard to say before you test it like I explained. Drivers can act differently on identical Windows builds.

so you assume or even consider that the RME driver is worse than ASIO4ALL or WDM :woot:

Nerver considered this yet, I thought RME is famous for their drivers ?

Could be a combination of the motherboard, audio interface and windows. Is that RME Multiface II connected through PCI? If so it must be looked open as another add on card, which can cause problems. It is all about eliminating one thing at the time to find the reason for your problem. I don't mean that Asio4all is a better asio driver. I suggested that driver so you can test your system without the RME driver and without your audio interface connected to the PCI.

If that test prove that it has something to do with your RME card you can try and update your bios (if you have not done that already), and try another PCI port

Yeh it has a dedicated PCI? card. Just saw that they discontinued it.
When I disconnect its box from teh card I should activate and used the onboard audio to test ?
You are happy with your PreSonus Quantum audio interface ?

Yes, just download the realtek audio (Z87-A drivers and tools) for onboard audio, and change to Asio4all in Studio One. Since you ask that question I assume you have that click noise on regular use too, not only when you use DAW.
I'm very pleased with my Presonus Quantum, excellent drivers and latency numbers for Windows. Before that I had a Zoom UAC-8 USB3 which had crappy Windows drivers and was a nightmare to work with

Could be worth a try, but I'm guessing it is driver/hardware related. Just download Ableton 10.0.6 and see if the same thing happens there. My experience is that Asio drivers behave pretty much the same in different DAW's. So if it for example crashes in one DAW it crashes in all DAW's. This is probably because asio drivers is not "part" of the DAW more like a separate standalone entity

yeah , it doesnt crash , and i dont get loud clicks or dropouts. It soulds more like a very subtile glitch. Or like a click from a vinyl.
    lets see.

Interesting is that i dont get any of those clicks under macOS. I can even surf the web check mails chat via telegram or even watch a video while making music without any gliches. And under Windows I have to tweak the sh*t out of it . mad times

Actually not that strange, different drivers and different OS. If a hardware combination works on Mac does not mean that it works well on Windows and vice versa. Sometimes it's all about luck.
Test out the two things with talked about....

RME Multiface II is a firewire interface,
firewire is an obsolete technology which isn't properly supported anymore in Windows 10

I don't understand the question mark (maybe typing error?) but if it is affirmative, what chipset? VIA fireware chipset are to avoid absolutely, an infinite source off issues and clicks.
    Mac install texas inst. ones!

it just uses the firewire connector but it is not firewire protocol, you need that HDSP PCIe card

I repeat, I had a lot of issues with firewire connections in the past, all due to PCi cards having VIA chipset. It's not a matter of windows or of the great RME audio interface, it's only a faulty HW+driver of VIA. Try to have a look of what is stamped on it, if VIA, look for a Texas instrument equipped one.
I say, Mac uses only T.I. chipset for this hardware, and there's a reason why.

Yesterday I did some BIOS tuning, I disabled hyperthreading to see hao itr affects the performance and manually set properties rather then auto mode. Surprisingly the whole system feel now more responsive under macOS and Windows.
I did the wohle day music and encounterfed only very few clicks, they sound like wrapping a paper, so very very subtile.
