Should I try win 10 for pro audio, or stay with 8.1 waiting for big companies to approve the OS ??

    Any feedback ?

I found that I get more dropouts after updating from 8.1 to W10

I have been running 10 for quite some time, only one really really old (cracked) software gave an issue ( sonivox appears to have an issue), otherwise everything is running sweet, live, cubase, studio 1, etc etc and i have all NI and lots of other stuff, some real old vsts are all working fine! its basically 7 with a pretty face....go for it!
install spy stop and stop auto update though!

I would always wait for service pack 1 to come out before I upgrade to a new O/S. It's not like the be all and end all to have something just because it's new.

Windows 10 is better than windows 8.1, when i was using windows 8 and update to 8.1 the drivers of my interface did work, but in windows 10 i was having some problems in my graphic card but now is running better with some updates, windows 10 is better in audio, i think you should wait there is a lot of tracking in windows 10 data.
