I still doubt it's legal, technically you aren't even eligible to use Enterprise license according to EULA when you're not a business (?)
...I'll try to find out some proper info later, because using Google to seach for Windows 10 enterprise key purchase all results are basically piracy stuff

    free O&O ShutUp10 utility FTW heh: https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10

Yeah, it is not legal, because it was meant for institutions like hospitals and stuff. But, I paid for the legal Pro version which is supposed to be a stable, no issues OS, not an endless beta version, like it actually is.
And, after all, Enterprise is a stripped down version. Microsoft should be happy because I paid for a full features version, but I use far less.

I''m wondering. What happens internet security-wise when Microsoft stops support this month?
Pretty sure this machine I'm using can go to 10, but I don't want to be bothered actually

Why not going with windows XP? Or windows '98? Or even better win 3.1? Those were good times... :guru:
Aside from the joke, windows 7 is indeed a very solid OS, but it stopped being supported by many develloppers. It is not supported by AMD on Ryzen processors. Yeah, there are workarounds to make it work, but is it really worth the hassle?

Wish ReactOS could run all of our audio software.

Otherwise as far as I'm concerned the only Windows 10 that anyone should run is Windows 10 LTSC. Microsoft actually trash talks LTSC and discourages people from using it, so you know it's the only version you should be using. :) They were pretty much forced to provide an OS that is actually stable and doesn't constantly break for hospitals, airports, factories, etc. So it's the real "professional" version.

Exactly! :mates: For whoever doesn't know that, LTSC is the latest Enterprise version.

i have recently upgraded from win 7 to 10 and i am enjoying it personally.
i did NOT enjoy having to spend hours and hours cleaning all the privacy concerns out though, but once it was done everything is working fine and the functionality is really growing on me.
its early days yet though, so there could be surprises coming my way.

Yeah that's a good anti-Win10-spyware app. But I was talking about the updates only. Windows 10 comes with most of that spy stuff by default.

You may be mistaking Windows 10 Enterprise with LTSC Enterprise. The LTSC is the stripped down one (and the next I'll use when my Windows 8.1 goes obsolete). The regular Enterprise is a bit more complete than a Pro version and goes on par with Home/pro versions (last one is v1909 while last LTSC one is v1809)
