Hi guys,

since I've installed the Windows 10 Creators Update, Sylenth1 has been annoying me with that "Thank you for trying this demo" sound.. Anyone else having the same problem? Doesn't seem to happen on 64-Bit DAWs. I'm using Cubase 5.
The same problem occured back then with Windows 8 (even with legitimate copies) and Lennar had to release a new installer which doesn't seem to work anymore either.

 

I have the same problem after Windows 10 Creators Update the Sylenth1 has stopped working ... ;(
I tried reinstalling, editing in the registry but without effect.

 

Anyone found a solution for this?

I have Win 10 Evaluation copy, registered as Pro version (64 bit) and i am using Ableton, Bitwig, FL Studio, Reaper and x64 Jbridged versions of Sylenth1 32bit. Everything ok so far, skinned and unskinned.

 

Wow, I wonder if this same update borked the R2R kg's that another poster was reporting about in a different thread.

This only happens in that last Win update (the infamous creators)... in the version before that (anniversary) Sylenth1 worked just fine..

And here I thought Microsoft had taken it upon themselves to update Sylenth1 for some reason.

You must update to the latest Sylenth1.v3.031 from the HP. This is the fixed version which runs on Win 10 Creators Update. See also LennarDigital at KVRaudio Forum. Still no Crack available for Version 3.

With all the clandestine actions that Win 10 does in the background, I wouldn't be surprised
Additionally, the Creators Update has broken a lot more than just that btw, see
Here or Here or google for yourself. They also tell you how to roll back.

You can switch off a lot of the built-in Win10 nastiness, but honestly I prefer spending my time with applications, not the operating system!

I have Creators Update installed and Sylenth1 works just fine for me.

 

What was the problem ?

 

You need to use the 64 bit version of Sylenth1... I was running the 32 bit version which is broken...

 

install & use the 32bit sylenth

never had issues with sylenth on win 10 even with all the updates, but i own it legit, and i think that the reason no new cracks are out might be the way you authorize it, the serial is linked to you account if you bought it, and you have only so many times to auth it before the key is blacklisted, then you have to contact lennar and explain the reason why you need to reinstall it and your e mail is proof of purchase, i might be wrong,

 

This isn't how cracks work at all lol.

 

No issues here with legit copy of Sylenth1.
