For OEMs only, and 10th gen is six years old now.

Six years is not that old for a home computer running only internet + office stuff. All those 11 limitations are just silly, people will stay with 10 even if they did not release any free updates anymore ...

I think "for OEMs" means for new built systems bundled with Windows OEM versions sold by system builders, not for updates.

in that very link you shared:

"Microsoft confirmed that the requirements for running Window 11 24H2 haven't changed, which means OEMs utilizing 8th, 9th, and 10th gen CPUs will still get Windows updates in the future as usual."

of course OEMs shouldn't be selling new PCs with 2019 CPUs because then they wouldn't be able to provide mandatory support

Thank you. I don't need another PC for the moment. It just works for me. I have another Mini PC with and I9 13900h but the bios is so minimalistic that I don't know if TPM 2 is active.

I thought Win 11 24H2 is bug ridden and shouldn't be used until some of the major bugs are fixed. ??

With every update, bugs are fixed and new bugs are added, that's the business model and the eternal never ending update trap.

aand my old PC (see signature) has no TPM at all, and still it runs Windows 11 Pro (23H2) just fine (non-modified official installer, but using Ventoy as USB install stick)
