Win 10 clean install ISO now available

    Windows 10 is now available to download as a ISO so you can do a clean installation.

    I'm downloading it now, seems quite fast considering how many people must be using microsoft servers today :)

    Good luck to any installing win 10 today, make sure you have backups. :)

    I installed one of the latest TP on my Laptop alongside Win7 1 month ago, the dualboot killed my Win7 boot even if i choose to install alongside it. Beware.

    Is there a way I can go from Windows 7 to Windows 8 if I have a valid copy of Windows 8 on a computer I'm not using? I know alot of people hated 8 but I honestly liked it quite a bit after I got used to it & also skipped the ugly Tiles UI bullshit. Can I upgrade to 8 & it still register as a valid copy?

    i have read you can upgrade from 7 and 8.1 but not from 8 with their MediaCreationTool

    don´t know why they leave win 8 out for now

    why not provide a FTP link, instead a stupid download tool. i will wait for a scene release, should come in a few days anyway like always.

    i will install a VM first and check if everything is working fine with it and if i can deinstall and deactivated BS windows 10 comes with.

    Just put it this way windows validation tool is shite and doesn't work properly :yes:

    sorry one question: what does the "Agree" button stand for? what's the difference between this and Like button? Does it means an affermative answer to the post "agreed"? sorry for the question, I searched for the rules of the forum, but no page available. I'll delete this OT message if anyone will answer :) tx.

    Like button adds rep and Agree button just shows that you agree with it.

    There is something I can't understand. If I use the "Upgrade to Windows 10" icon (to get if 4 free) my Win7 32-bit will be erased. OK. But...what if I decide (a couple mounth after the installation) it is better leave Win10 32-bit and move to Win10 64-bit? Will I need a clean full installation? :dunno: :facepalm::mad:

    Exactly.. seems to be a HUGE, how do i reformat Win 10 issue with this.

    If something screws up in 3 weeks, how does one reinstall Win 10 without a Disc from boot?

    Why don' u use the usual "Install from ISO" method and forget about the official upgrade process?

    There's plenty of ISO images in the net now with the final RTM 10240 build (which is the latest one) in ISO format.

    Then you can make clean installs, another partition installs, USB installs.....

    Just search for Windows 10 10240 in your usual tracker.
