Will Cubase 6 open Cubase 5.1.1 files

    Hi all, hoping to get 2nd hand Cubase 6 for my new setup as it is obviously waaaay cheaper than buying brand new

    Just wondering if anyone knows if Cubase 6 will open Cubase files created by Cubase 5.1.1 Portable. For obvious reasons I cant ask the steinberg forums!

    Yes sir, it will... Just take a look at the tempo track!
    I've noticed that sometimes it sets the tempo to its own default.

    Cool! I will just add the tempo inti the track title so I get it right. Cheers
