    I've never seen a forum that Newbie terms etc were not based on longevity. That is the definition of a newbie. "New" to something. Popularity contests went out after high school. How many "likes" seems very silly to me. Number of comments isn't much better. Just my opinion. I realize I really have no say and am fine with that.

    I can see the usefulness to "like" and "dislike" (up to a point) but what's the heat about newbie or not?
    I am a noob (for what I care).. some is not.. What's the difference? Do others really care if I, or you, are a newbie? I don't.
    I'd rather have something that states if the member is an expert of some sort (ain't we all), if that was at all possible.

    In the end, the likes are one thing, but if you take active part in a community you usually get to know the members and vice versa. There are many perople here where I recognice the name/avatar instantly and know that I can trust him/her and I'm not even that active.

    The SAiNT knows. The SAiNt sees. Looks good--Congrats to all after the hard work. Don't mind my avatar name changing, or starting stats from 0. Just here for the AudioZen, shits and giggles. All good and washes out in the end.

    yay, we can now change the page from the bottom again. Saints definately working hard on this...

    Also, it would be great if you could bring back the 'latest topics' section again. That was a really useful feature for seeing what new topics were going on :)

    hmmm never saw that. I guess it was there after all but just hidden. Nice, as long as we have it somewhere it's fine. It just gives a better overview of what's happening in the forum, as opposed to browsing through all the categories :)

    But man am I loving this new look more and more. Better to have our own personalised, custom system than use boards made by others :D

    We should have a screenshot of old AudioSex for Nostalgia. Prolly put it in a new thread or something.

    This rating system might take you somewhere feeling really self conscious.
    I have my little issues with this new trend, seen everywhere, by which all is put down to merit.
    Merit itself might reflect the dominant thinking, a bit blind to nuances or something else.

    Anyways, I really love the new look of the site, besides my badge has been demoted...

    Should I become more meaningful, in order to perhaps promote maself? Who knows how things turn up in this new dawn...

    I don't mind the Newbie reset thing, 'cos I was still a Newbie anyway... Love the look of the new forum, great work by Saint and Catalyst, but personally I think there are too many ratings choices, the simple 'Thanks' button on the old forum was good enough for me. I'm pretty sure I'll be in the minority though.
