Why not turn off your computer and go out for a walk to look at the sky?

There is a well-known photographer who specialises in photographs of mass nudity in public spaces, so it is probably him.

I moved to the country side on the pandemic, work from home and I've a very beautiful place around: a river and a little damn that creates a lakeside landscape. So I just have to go outside the house 2 steps to do that.

But the for the rest of the points... we don't control nor desing the tools your mention and is not all a "indivudual decision" to be able to do that. I takes more work to be offline that online now and when you're online a miriad of dopamine triggers are waiting there, meticulosly tailor crafted for you and you alone, with hundreds of top neurologist and clinical psycologist on a paidroll supported by thousands of peer reviewd studies about your emotional reactions trying and succeding in hooking you up.

It's not only difficult, is also cultural zeigeist. So good luck trying to scape that.

I'd have been lost without my Thomas Guide when I first got to L.A., it was de rigueur. Common usage of GPS nowadays is now much easier of course to navigate. We've come a ways since the need of a compass and intimate knowledge of the night sky. I don't personally know anyone that uses a sextant though in the past certainly might know quite a few.

I was only joking my friend, although humour these days seems VERY subjective, and, if it hurts someone's feelings, seems you are now a criminal!

There used to be a saying EVERYONE who was raised in the 1970s and 80s would remember. If you ran to a teacher, parent, etc, saying someone had called you a nasty name, their response was always, “Stick and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me!” Crazy how we have devolved from that common sense mantra into the victim culture of wokeness.

the interaction of light and human hormonal and mitachondrial systems are just now beginning to be understood. But evidently blue light which predominates in LCD screens and LED lights destroys and/or degrades dopamine and dopamine responses. Natural light is needed for good overall health.

so more time outside might save your health and your life. Especially if you can spend time in greenery like parks and trees.

Its related to the obesity epidemic...

this guys a brain surgeon he gets into the feedback mechanism, how we (our mitachondria) know when its night without using our eyes, and many interesting mechanisms including the Leptin system, which has led to massive obsesity in all nations that abandoned cathode ray televisions for (digital) LCD/LED systems, the same for incandescent lights being abandoned and the red spectrum they provide.

The antisocialism is a byproduct of the low dopamine levels. everybody is like a heroin addict looking for a fix, cranky and looking for a fight.

he's got some pretty good videos including a 4 hour video I downloaded as an mp3 and listened to last night, in which he explains why and how kennedy was killed, and how medicine was co-opted. - 1st 2 hours is history and lays the path to understanding how we are being manipulated by Darpa et al, via technology, the 2 nd 2 hours is a discussion of the bodies mechanisms and pathways....
worth the time, you won't hear this anywhere else..

still have my Thomas Guide in the closet under the box of maps. never know when the old gps will go out (act of war) or solar flare kills all the satellites.. Though I'm thousands of miles from Los Angeles.. but one thing I've learned in life, is you never know where you will go. I never thought I'd go to Japan, but I did... Think I still have my subway maps for Tokyo..

    ps.. thass one sexy sextant..

Satan has many helpers, enabling a comfortable path, it doesn't mean we should follow it. One thing about musicians and artist is we tend to say "f*ck off" and try to do things the way our hearts and twisted minds tell us. I am glad I can play a guitar or synth without having to be on a computer to do it.

it gives me one more reason to disconnect the VPN and shut the lid on the laptop for a few hours...

Not using the internet for everything is like using cash, it say FU to the government and the corporations. We are many, we are Legion..

Life was shit long before TV and smartphones. In fact, any experiences you have in life, good or bad, are meaningless and merely a distraction from your impending demise. The best life in the world is no different from the worst once it's run its course. Happy Sunday everyone :D
