Why is space disappearing on Mac

    Hello

    I have an issue, I don't run anything in terms of libraries off my Mac, I run them off an external SSD. So why is space rapidly disappearing on my Mac?

    I can't understand it, everything that is downloaded is downloaded to an external hard drive, directly onto it. So nothing should be touching my Mac
