Anyone who wants to earn a living as a mixer professionally in Germany (Europe) does an apprenticeship at Steinberg - Cubase on a Mac computer. This is the standard here.

    SONIC-AudioSchool - sound engineer training
Sound engineering school in the recording studio in Chemnitz in Sachsen

They probably think that it is the abbreviation of:

    For Losers

I think the OP is asking about professional studios, like those where bands and artists go to record instruments and vocal takes. That's said it's not a matter of "DAW Wars", it's only a matter of DAW functions. Why would Abbey Road or Blackbird Studios use FL Studio when there are better and more versatile options for their daily tasks. Not saying FL is worse or better, it's just different and all comes down to one's necessities and workflow.

And yeah, I've tried other DAWs but FL workflow is just amazing. The fact that you can, for example, layer all the synths in the pattern tab and throw them in the timeline as just one instrument is really valuable as you can keep the creative mindset going, and these are the kind of features that helps FL to be an easy choice for electronic and hip hop producers.

This is not "studio" it is a writer. That the modern day call a "producer".
