Why does FL studio have so many problems??

    I've used FL since V8. it is a powerful daw if you know how to use it, simple and right for it. however, the crashes became more and more presence, since V11. FL 20 has the worst bugs I ever faced. huge huge problems of freezing and crashing easily, slowly at times indeed. much weaker then before IMO. once I did a reset for a setting a couple of times it worked fine...but still, bugs are probably on the way. might also convert to another daw.

    I never had FL crash unless I used bad cracked plugins back in the day, now that I have the legit version (two copies idk how I got 2 but one was for Razer promo the other I haven't a clue but never paid a dime and ended up on my image-line account). Now Im using the Mac version since I sold my Razer for a MacBook I do get crashes more than windows but still acceptable to me and its still because of plugins mostly

    Nah, it's not. I have my own legit key since years and I still favour the cracked versions more.
    Just use my key for the newest updates and then I patch the instruments to get the "all plugins bundle".
    (I'm too stupid to get around VMP3)

    the screen because the plugin manager window always stays on top of other windows, it completely crashes EVERY time I click on "more plugins" and loading projects takes too long on a high end computer. And on top of all that image line refused to give me a refund.
    So I'm asking you guys , how can an almost 900€ piece of software be this bad ?

    PS. If you can give me suggestions on FL studio alternatives I would appreciate it.

    See Reaper. They have plenty of tutorials on their site. It's light and customizable to your own shortcuts, mouse buttons and there are plenty of skins and scripts for it. And it's cheap (60 usd or something). But it doesn't have instrument samples and synths. The effects are good in it.

    the plugin manager behaves weird with older arturia plugins and some steinberg plugs, just get a never arturia version (cracked) and try again, usually its bad plugins that cause the pluginmanager to hang
