You should reset FL Studio's settings. Already wrote it in another thread so I just copy my message here:
The plugin manager takes alot of time at the first full scan. Detick the option to rescan already scanned & verified
plugins and on the next run (after you've installed a new plugin), it just takes a minute or so.

Besides that, FL 20.x uses VMProtect 3.x, which slows down everything in FL Studio. If I load a project created in FL Studio 12.4.2
it takes 3x more time to load in v20.x. Also CPU usage increased alot so if you want a nicely running FL Studio, don't take the latest version.
And btw. with all that new protection, they're still not able to protect it from reversers so basically it's completely useless but IL doesn't give anything on such opinions.

In the past they used ASProtect and then dropped it. Now it's VMP3 and who knows, maybe they'll drop it too in future
when they realize that it makes no sense. I'm working With FL since v3 and since the last months/years I'm thinking
about selling my license to a friend and getting another DAW.

It's not the scanning that takes long. Every time plugin manager opens it goes in "not responding" state and stays like that for an eternity. After that everything works fine

Then you shoult take a look into the event viewer of windows. Maybe there's a problem with a corrupted plugin,
which could show up in the administrative event logs.

You sould buy an SSD drive (almost no slowing down here after 2 years using the same OS) and you should create an image of your
basic installation. There's a tool called "c't-WIMage". It lets you create an installation image of your current Windows state.

Means you could install a fresh windows, install all your needed programs, make all the settings you want, configure
every program as you like and then you create a windows installation image from it, which installs that exact system on
every computer you want (no matter what hardware it has).

So everytime you reinstall windows, all your settings, profiles and programs already are included.
But be aware, it adds everything from the windows partition so maybe don't place big video files or music
collections there, it would increase the size alot. In my case right now the image would have a size of over 200GB.

@farao It's very inconsistent some times yes, some times no. Sometimes it just doen't want to do anything, sometimes it can be an angel. It's really frustrating because it makes it hard to pinpoint the cause of the problem

i remember the year when Myspace is on the spotlight. cool thing is live band/performer have this awesome Myspace platform to share demos/recordings and flyers and gig stuff alike. it was so happening. and so, being a rock band wannabe looking for crowd and fanbase to share with, i did a track with FL Slayer. with that haha yeah, it suxss.

the best piano roll features compares to other still, no doubt.

FL Studio is just a "toy". Would never spend so much money on such a DAW. Ridiculous!

My experience is that some third party plugins just don't work right with FL Studio. Random crashes, GUI freezes. Once you get rid of the misbehaving plugin the software tends to be quite stable.

Anyway, probably a good idea to demo the software before buying '$800' edition. You sound like a troll.

I think it would be worth the price if I wasn't experiencing problems with it

try to narrow the crashes down by reducing the number of different plugins

I'm not trolling though. I was using a cracked version and it was working 100% fine. So I thought to myself "what an amazing piece of software let's support the creators by buying the most ecexpensive version the sell".

Some quick things that come to mind you could try

    >use somethings like Revo uninstaller and delete the full installation (after backuping your projects) & restart pc
    >reinstall as administrator in a more simple folder structure e.g C:\Image-Lime\FL20
    >move your vst plugins directory to another SSD - bro above says good ,OS on SSD and a separate SSD will help in load time
    >check your ASIO drivers to be latest version and windows sound drivers ,this could be because of some update (check sound settings in control panel - both of them , and you system-settings-device manager if on Windows 10
    >many plugins draw lots of RAM and HDD speed during load besides CPU ,could be a unpatched or old vsti or vst doing this

*Edit* it could also be system throttling because of other background apps starting or going on while you are working on the DAW,
make sure you write music while offline and with useless stuff like browsers and pop-ups shutoff , also with these kind of temperatures i would avoid working a computer during daytime for hours and hours nonstop so if you havent tried yet do a full shutdown (also for update reasons) and reset remove plugs for 1minute or more and then restart your system,
could also be something to do with your BIOS settings + latest fixes, this kind of stuff needs more info than you provide

this is all guessing you are running a somewhat latest cpu , a windows 10 , 16gb of ram , 128gb os ssd and maybe an extra 512gb ssd, anyway good luck bro and
