oh yes... these words again... if you pay a developer for his products, why do you need sister site? =)
oh sure, as long as it is possible not to pay the developer and use his product for free, then why pay anyone at all? oh, not to anyone, but to third-party file hosting. pay for the service? what? NO! you can pay only apple or google for a place on icloud or google drive. do you think so?

and it is more convenient for me to pay to file hosting. I can also store my files there (and I will get more storage). and also - I can download files without restrictions. and most importantly, only this service is enough for me. I have not yet seen something exclusive, so that it cannot be downloaded from RG. and I am satisfied with the download /upload speed of files.

 

No sir, we are not using the same account if thats what you are asking, I have a couple of producer friends who have accounts of their own on Rapidgator, suspended at the moment, and I see more links being taken down or being temporarily unavailable, nobody else experiencing these things? Cause otherwise i dunno what the hell is going on right now...

Did you upload files named with anything but random letters/numbers?

so much yes voters are here so long and saw enough hosters vanish, they should kno bout uploaders demands
openload was way stronger than clickn and what happened...
this is no trillion clicks movie site , it would had never equalized the buff like movie sites
and yet they want replace a main pillar

I voted NO because I am now in the Philippines and Rapidgator was the one I was able to easily use my credit card with.
So far everything else has been either impossible or a hassle.

 

Rapidgator is also on the latest “naughty list” of Mpa/Riaa, together with anonfiles, uploaded, zippyshare, turbobit,ddownload...

I voted yes because I hadn't considered all these points being made and I wasn't aware of the history of sites like openload, audiok(?) etc.
Honestly, I just saw a poll that said "possibly faster downloads/more link generator support" VS "Rapidgator" and being greedy, I voted for the former. I feel way more informed now and regret my initial vote, and as such, I'm changing my vote! I'm grateful to even get a link, doesn't matter which host its from.

 

Why do that when the sister site is already fine just how it was and is now? There is a lot of several free torrent sites because they all get the releases from the sister site. If you really want to give your money to the developers why are you talking about torrents, BitTorrent and "free one click downloads"?

Third party hosters are much safer than torrents & are not hosted on dedicated servers

Yeah, it was an interesting list.
And it does say that those are the sites they are proposing to put on the naughty list. And I guess they will.
They've all always been on the radar, since the first DMCA takedown request any of them would have had.

 

Next year there will be the copyright reform in Europe. Then they will maybe block all hosts that do not use upload filters. And file hosters, where uploaders can make some money, need to sign contracts with the uploaders. Let's see how that works.
