    This is human nature. A gamer will argue that PoE is better than any theoretical ARPG. A middle-class person will say that Toyota is better than BMW or Mercedes. A soy engineer will insist that Arch Linux is the best operating system. An audio snob will claim that Pro Tools is always at the top. An audio enthusiast will swear that Reaper is the best. They’re all right and wrong at the same time. You need to have enough ego to make your own decisions, regardless of the volume of the shouting mouths around you.

    No they don't. Unless by most people you mean you and perhaps your friends?
    Same answer as above.
    I thought earlier you said you have no opinion.
    There is no issue to begin with. Everyone uses what they fucking like. If i can see an issue here is your proper connection to reality.
    Oh you are very kind sir. I mean we were waiting for someone to open such a thread and release our tongue so we can speak because till then we were so afraid to say errrr.. say ... errr...aahh... hmmm... Reaper. There. I said it. Reaper Reaper Reaper. See, not afraid anymore. Thanks doc.
    Now you 're talking, Commands cause the work environment to be crowded. Yes, because commands are ... invisible. So what you don't see makes the environment crowded. This is so deep i am still trying to grasp it man...
    Oh i know, this is a Twilight Zone DAW, that's why they call it Reaper. It's an Alien Killer who came to Earth seeking to destroy all the good people who never learn commands and use the mouse for everything but still claim to be producers/mixers/ etc. Its price is deviously devised so more people buy it and it infects all the moment they install it with an incurable alien disease, the Commandomania. Users stop using the mouse and become addicted to key strokes. NASA, NSA, CIA and the CDC are all at high alert. Walter Bishop is called back from Fringe to further investigate any more anomalies.

    i always used Reaper as a testing/jamming tool. did a couple of songs in it but nothing serious. mostly low track number stuff. the heavy lifting go in ableton.

    @Incontro

    I have only one question for you, if you can answer it truthfully. Please keep in mind if you do not, there are very good odds than any moderator could answer it by checking your I.P and/or email given against it, if they chose to say otherwise. Fortunately for you they maintain privacy, though they can PM you.

    Are you the person previously known as FOSTER?
    If not, I will attempt to contribute meaningfully. Otherwise I will respectfully leave this thread for my own sanity.

    Please do not make this personal!!!:bow:

    I asked a simple question and there were many comments. I have always wondered what is the reason for all these recommendations of people to use Reaper. Whenever the question of choosing a DAW comes up, some people have suggested this DAW. Personally, I have not found anything special in this DAW, I said let us and other friends discuss about this DAW and learn more about the positive features of this DAW, maybe more users will be inclined towards it.
    Unlike the large number of plugins, the number of DAWs is small and we have to choose from these few DAWs for our works. The hidden capabilities of DAWs should be identified as much as possible so that people may have better choices for each stage of their works.
