i found really interesting what he had to say in this vid at 2.30 in about studios & sound,what do you think ?
for me it makes sense from an artist/composer point of view,i wonder if they ever mixed something in there... :

Bass traps seem to work for this fellow.


And I believe that Vangelis only used the studio in Paris for an extremely short span of time, the space where the interview in the above video was documented. I think he is back in London now but we haven't spoken for a while so Van could be anywhere, maybe even back in Greece.

Quite reasonable explanation. Its actually built up bass frequency caught in the equilibrium of a perfectly treated room which sounds like breaking the sound barrier, only smaller. I have golden ears. I really dont have time to explain everything.
