Why aren’t there more stereo hardware channel strips? Any recommendations?

    it's not easy or cheap to make stereo processor, because the electrical circuits and all components for each channel need to alter sound same way, that's also why for ex. proper analog monitor controllers cost around 1000 bucks

    Companies like WesAudio and Fredenstein, not to mention Lexicon and Eventide, are starting to put out a lot of rack and 500 series gear with plug-in recall, meaning you can save settings in your DAW just like a software plug. And WesAudio makes a lot of inexpensive clones (my favorite is their SSL G-Series bus compressor clone).
