I've been banned from Soundcloud for posting illegal remixes and I didn't want the same to happen on YouTube so....
Actually there are thousands of illegal remixes on Soundcloud but mine were too good (??? kidding) for the labels that's why they banned me
I had "likes" from all over the world (USA (New York, California), Japan, Australia, UK...) for a french guy that means a lot.
I am disgusted I couldn't share with more people, they fucking stopped me.
Now I am working on my own project but I consider it as "classified" so I don't post anything until it is released on a label.
I will create a new account on Soundcloud where I will post my new remixes, unless you sue me for the remix I am making for you these days

ps I finished the first Intro/Verse/Bridge/Chorus 2'17", still not happy with a few drum sounds but the project is taking form. Your takes are very good which makes it quite easy to get good results,

no special gear, just a PC and lots of plugins and sound libraries... i'm mixing with my headphones (Sennheisser), because my speakers are really bad...
i guess it's the next thing i will buy
my genre is pop - electro with a touch of funk and hip hop influences. i wrote about 30 songs for that project but none of them are ready since i need to write all the lyrics and record the vocals
i also write classical music and movie music (side projects).
i don't like to publish on the internet, i'm really scared someone could steal my music or that i could lose my rights by publishing on the wrong site. i prefer to contact labels with demos (i know it is really old fashionned...)

I understand , Which Sennheiser Do you have ?

I have been considering Sennheiser the 6xx from massdrop for producing on late nights since my studio door is well sealed yet.

Start Writing an Recording and also putting music out in the meanwhile you never know. I make artworks for songs and albums in case you need one.

 

My Sennheiser is a simple one, the HD 25-C II . If you have a good sonic isolation (and a silent equipment) the 6xx is great.

Update for the remix. I am considering choosing between the 3 versions/moods i made, and will finish my favourite one. Hope i'm not taking too much time

and yes artworks could be a good idea ^^

Take your time , when it comes out I know it will be special , I Know what it’s like to be a producer and want the best for our works.

There will be more songs and this is just about having fun and create conexions all over the world.

Just enjoy the process , the is not deadline.

Update: I'm ALMOST done with my remix. Just a few issues for the song structure left but I'll manage to find a solution soon.
I ended up with a new-funk-disco remix which can be surprising lol. I finally chose this version rather than the reggaeton version I did first, but in my opinion it was too obvious to use a reggaeton beat, I think I made the good choice. I will post my final mix on soundcloud with your permission, after I sent u a mp3 copy of the song of course.
Are the others remixers involved done with their work yet??? Please guys let us know, I have the feeling that it took me soooo much time, am I the only one???

 

I would have done one but the OP never sent me the project file. Oh well. Can't wait to hear what you guys have made.

I will distribute it on all platforms when the original songs comes out if you have distrokid send me your id so i route to you the 40% percent of any revenue, if there is any.

Send me the wave file when you are done, also send me your producer name so I can add you on the title and on...
