    Hy Folks
Well, I've been listening to this girl singing for a long time, every time I use the R2R Keygen and I thought it was a "Remix" of a song from the 90s. I was convinced it was from a 90's song, but to my surprise today I said, I'm going to look it up. I sing it on my phone, and nothing. I play the song on the Keygen and it tells me it's a band called "Treat me - Krooga".
So now I'm confused. So it's not a remix of an old song? It's a new song? it sounds like a 90's female voice.

Now I can't get the song out of my head.

I know what you feel, rings in my head too. i think the voice, sound, notes, chord progression is very similar to some other track (s). Probably there is one original back in the 80s and that hit was "remade" multiple times, with other words etc but still keeping that original feeling

edit: in this case it was not the 80s, Krooga seems to have made a remix of another jungle track that i really liked and seems to be pretty rare today, not much info about it. but here you go: u4ia - I'll Find My Own Way

but even this one was made inspired in some other track, a r&b 70s or 80s track i think

Looks like the song name is correct, but the artist is u4ia (or Jim Young) like EddieXx said.

EDIT: Completely missed the fact that the full artist name is u4iaF8, so both @5xq and @EddieXx are correct!

It would be interesting to know where the sampled vocals are from. Maybe just some random sample library?

I could extract the vocal samples but then I need to install FT2 clone which I really don't want to do

Yes agree it could be from a library, but Im almost sure that even if it came from a sample library that sample is a re-sung of another tracks vocals, slightly or much changed or "heavily inspired". Depending how far back in time we want to take it lol :)

Im going to try to figure it out later, got me curious

What is FT2 clone? I have already heard this mentioned in another post. I looked it up on goolge, but I don't know exactly what it is. Is it some audio analyzer looking for a similar one?

I also think it could be an excerpt of a song, or a loop or sample. I could have sworn it was a song from the 90s. But I mean a song all sung, not just that part as a "remix". a song like "Kiss me" that kind of song.
Well I hope you find something. I didn't find anything more than what was said here.

Speaking of Fasttracker, it might be a little bit offtopic, but my love for making music started with this beauty...

    Sorry, I'm a little lost.
I just downloaded it and apparently it's a sample uploader, right? I thought it "tracked music" so it was looking for the artist of a sample.

Because @5xq said: I would have to extract the tracks and install FT Clone. Responding to @Arabian_jesus's comment that he thinks it's a sample from some library.
    I don't quite understand

You can extract samples from a XM, MOD file. That's why in the Amiga day, floppy disk era, you can buy a floppy disk containing bunch of samples or other people "zip project"
(I use modern term to make it easier to understand, it's like FL Studio "zipped loop package" or Ableton Live "Collect All and Save")

xm, mod are file formats for music tracker software, basically containers with midi and audio files inside

Wouldn't you need this song in XM format to be able to extract the sample?

EDIT: Just noticed that the song is available in XM format on the scenestream site! Interesting :)

    Probably from here: https://www.scenestream.net/demovibes/song/41748/

It's not an mp3 or wav though, it's an XM file for use in FastTracker 2. However, the song is available on YouTube, so you can rip it from there.
