    I deeply believe in this, maybe the Lord too but why does not do anything to turn back the clock to those days with the same feelings.

    You could find your taste here (just click any station you want, 70s 80s 90s). This is one of my favorites beside itunes Radio:

    Maybe it's needed to write some tracks like this and pray and cry:

    You are not comparing felix, dee-lite and jam&spoon with the op's track????!?!?!?!
    I mean we're talking about anthems, really the pinnacles of their times, music influencial for generations of producers after them (ever heard kiesza and the modern pop stuff? Recognize the harmonies and melodies?) on the one hand, and chicks with a selfie stick and a ghost producer on the other hand...

    now it's my turn... ^^ this ^^

    Edit: I also find it funny that edm is so booming in the states while for most of me and my friends it's the same stuff we heard @ festivals here like 10+ years ago. but then again, we are behind with some other genres. ah well, ying yang.

    Just because it's simple and caching doesn't make it good or decent, just easily memorable :bleh:
    I personally don't like it for it being too repetitive and cliché.

    On the other hand, this is what I do like a lot:

    Strings motif is repeated throughout the whole piece, but it's only few times and it feels totally undisturbing. Much less so than the word "ass" in Nicky Minaj's Anaconda, being repeated there over 60 times.
    There are so many chord progressions and multiple harmony lines one can learn a lot from this piece.

    On another note, this is "Our Music" forum, from your initial post I understand this track is not yours. Are you sure you do have a permission to post it publicly?

    Yes its true KIDS liked 2 Unlimited but compared to the proper ground breaking dance music of that time their music thankfully pales into insignificance. To try and validate them as good through association with truly great and proper dance music is a joke in itself. As a matter of fact 2 Unlimited's music was written by 2 ageing studio producers who were in it solely for the money and cashed in on the underground scene. Fair play to the producers for making money but 2 Unlimited were never to be taken seriously. They were simply disposable pop music and I am still kind of stunned with their inclusion in the original post. To each their own I suppose. If you think the new stuff is very 90's then you aren't listening to the right "deep" music. Dig deeper and you will find proper good music out there.

    @Kwissbeats er what?????????

    I liked it but isn't much my thing and as they said above, vocals are too repetitive and that, personally, don't like it much.

    Cant say I like this one. Bit Eurovision ala late 90s. Not my thing at all.
