Obviously some devs don't seem to care much, whereas other devs take down releases on the sister site quicker than you can blink sometimes.

This means that some releases or updates, especially from those with the quickest takedowns, can be easily missed. For example, I wanted to try WA Production's imPerfect but missed the recent release (until I noticed it elsewhere).

I'm just wondering what devs have the quickest takedowns? Knowing this may make it easier to look these up at other sources if need be to see if anything released on the sister site has been missed.

Spitfire within 12h via abusing files on cyberlockers. (UL, RG, etc)

    Xfer takes 1-2 days.

i would say its quite rare to have takedowns.

Production Music Live content (Tutorials and sample packs) is usually very short lived. Who can blame them, their production quality and content is usally pretty spot on

All I know is that as soon as I see an xfer post, I grab it right away.

Gone fairly quickly. A day or two, as @ArticStorm says, sounds about right.

    Melda and Soundevice maybe too...
but I'd consider dev takedowns as a good thing, because it means they are aware of the community and therefore they can infuence their potential customers...

Wow, I didn't even see that one... I love the portable version of Kontakt though. Anyways, just replying to say that in cases like this, I'll generally go to audionews . They're rare enough that I don't have to worry about ratio.

This is mostly hitting the legit customers like me (Colledtors Edition and lots of other products owner). If you have a legit NI ecosystem the portable solution is the easiest way to try what you'll potentially buy. Those, who keep everything cracked, don't really need the self-contained version.

Till now, I always updated the whole NI Komplete to the newest TOP Collectors Titanium++ version, when on sale. That may change this year, if they continue with this nonsense. I am just one customer.. but I can say with quite some certainty that I represent a larger base of those who have just enough money to buy legit but start to think carefully when the cost of living goes up..
    /end rant

BTW 1., I can see NI has done some "deep cleaning" this time, lol..
BTW 2., ..so it took me a whole 2 minutes to get what I want ...pathetic :dont:

What is the reason that the vkdanilov portable version gets taken down, but the R2R, MORiA, and bobdule versions are still there?

I was wondering this too, because sometimes stuff gets pulled if there's bugs/problems with it. But I checked on audionews, and there's no reported bugs there yet, so may be other reasons.. but, yes, what?

The last few have been hosted at bob dule's site. 7.1.5 is on there now but looks like it is listed as 7.1.15.
