Hi Guys, i installed in my new laptop win 10 and many plugins, but i saw i am in a Microsoft account. should i begin with a local account better?

 

The first i did when upgrading to win 10 was to get rid of the Microsoft account

 

some time ago, I was troubleshooting problem with Waves plugins (legit) on friend's rig,
neither Waves support nor Microsoft support was able to figure it out for days,
in the end he contacted me, and I noticed there's something weird on his profile and tried to install Waves through local Win10 profile instead of his MS account profile - things just worked!

conclusion? MS account fuckery has no place on audio workstation, the end.

 

local account all the way. some weeks ago i had a problem to login on my laptop, and after a few hours and tutorials, i could get rid of the ms account and just use a local one

 

thanks for the answers! i will switch to Local account, i hope the win10 workflow will be faster without MS Account.
