Both will deauthorize if they are not installed correctly, if the release you use is a problem, or if you do not firewall block and hosts file 0.0.0.0 the websites. But they are nothing like Sonic Charge, where you can do everything correctly and still have the plugin bomb.

Use a good release and do not allow them to communicate with the cloud, and you will be good. I hope this is what you mean.

What would be reasons to find a vendor after you have already added them to your file? Also, I see that you block many vendors using the subdomains so you are not blocking the entire domain for sites you may still want to visit. Have you ever noticed traffic to other addresses which you have not restricted, or are you relying on the firewall to catch other unspecified outbound traffic?

You can add blocklist subscriptions to Little Snitch, but they can be 5-10mb filesize. There are pros and cons to it.

 

d16 had preset bombs in some releases few years back and kick2 got propered later too imho
but seems they figured it out vice versa to sonic c and ploytec ...

Well if it is suggested to add a line for a vendor, I can look and see if i already have it.
I like BlueLife Hosts Editor because there is a check mark next to each item that one can clear and "apply" to easily go to blocked websites.

I only blocked in a manner suggested by R2R and others, so I did not really think about it, but yes, some pages can be accessed on some sites while the others are blocked.

I use Windows firewall (with WFC as the GUI) so the hosts file may be redundant.
I'm just following orders

 

Side note, but isn't Kick 3 out, or coming out?
