Speaking of UAD, looking at their website I found that they are selling 3 months of UAD Spark for 0,99$, a bargain, even if you don't get any plugin forever it lets you find your keepers. Also they're selling many of their essential plugins in less than 30$ and they give you their pultec for free with any purchase, that's nice too.

On the contrary. Those who are actually going to spend money this black friday, this thread will confuse them more. Then again, it's kinda nice to know what others believe worth buying, even though people are going to throw a lot of options. A LOT. Brace yourself!

 

My two cents. Those who want Vocalign pro, Repitch standard and Revoice pro alongwith Landr mastering plugin and some fx, head to Landr website.
Universal audio bundle including atr 102, fairchild, lexicon and some others are being sold for 60 dollars on pluginboutique. Doesn't hurt to check.

UAD has analog magic (analogic? anamagic?) that NO other plugin has. I'm glad I paid two months worth of salary for them. Now I can FEEL and SEE the sound of original 1176 and LA2A. Before I was mixing using my ears. Now I'm not even mixing, I just put the plugin on and it does its anamalagic.

Yes, but UAD needs the internet connection to load plugins every time. I have just finished their 3-month trial.

Man you just threw a stone and then hid the hand, you say that we endorse big companies like UAD (which is not accurate cos the most recommended dev in this thread is TDR) instead of more obscure small devs but you don't show anyone (ok, you say that you don't remember the names, but that's pretty strange since you're recommending them so one can expect that you at least use resources from them at least once a month). I think that many of us would like to give a chance to those "small devs" but if we don't know who are them it's hard to.

It might have been taken down because of DMCA notice, but Soothe 2 was released by R2R in the big wave during new years 2020-2021. You can still find it elsewhere if you look around.
